2024-1 YIC Residential Assistant(RA) Recruitment
YIC Residential College(RC) seeks students with leadership skills who can contribute to the RC education program as a Residential Assistant during the 2024-1 semester. We hope that many of you will apply.
1. Recruiting Number
• 000 persons
• Yonsei students in their second year or higher in the 2024-1 semester
• Yonsei students with enthusiasm and a strong commitment for RC education and leadership
• Students whose average GPA exceeds 3.0/4.3 (As of announcement date)
• Students who have received a [P] in all RC subjects (RC self-directed activity 1, RC self-directed activity 2, Yonsei RC 101)
『 Since first-year students are currently taking RC courses, the grade will be verified after selection is completed
(in the case of NP grade, RA selection will be canceled.)
• Student who can live in the dormitory of Yonsei international campus

- House RA: Sunday ~ Thursday / 20:00 ~ 24:00 - Administrative RA: 20 hours per week according to the RCprogram schedule |
• Students who reside in the dormitory and participate in RA workshop, and preparing house operation
『 All RAs must participate in RA workshop(2024. 2. 26. ~ 2. 27.)
• Students who are able to prepare for and participate in the house orientation event
• Students who have no health problems while performing RA activities
• Students who can pay dormitory fees for their RA activities and reside in the Songdo dormitory(the dormitory fee needs to be paid at the end of the semester at your own expense)
『 Application exclusions and precautions
A. Applicants who are not qualified for application
- students who have graduated, students who are double majoring after meeting every requirement of graduation, students who are on an enlistment leave of absence, Mirae campus students, temporary/irregular students
B. Precautions
- RA qualifications can be revoked if you are unable to enter the dormitory because you do not meet the qualifications
(health certificates, MMR, etc) set by the dormitory.
* Songdo dormitory’s admission qualifications will be announced in February
C. Preferred Conditions
- Administrative RA: Fluency in both Korean and other foreign languages (including English) / Proficient in administrative work, design, video making, and various OA skills
- Appenzeller RA : Fluency in both Korean and other foreign languages(including English)
3. Main Responsibilities of Administrative RA
A. Guide and support RC students and serve as a mentor while residing at the Yonsei International Campus with RC students
B. Serve as an assistant of the Residential Master(RM)
C. Design, develop, manage house programs and participate in the house program for all RC students in the house
D. Serve as a tutor helping RC students studying subjects that are included in the freshmen curriculum
E. House based support for the programs organized by the Residential College
F. Attend regular and irregular meetings of house operation and provide reports on the condition of RC students
4. Main Responsibilities of Administrative RAs
A. Operate and support RC programs held by Residential College
B. Registration and management of RC common programs in the Career Yonsei system
C. Creation of program posters and various promotional materials(including video editing)
D. Management of RC common spaces of the dormitory
E. Attend regular and irregular meeting and support for other RC education tasks

B. Applicants who apply for House RA may select the house they prefer
- However, the information about your house preferences might not be reflected in the final assignment result
C. It is not possible to apply for a dormitory assistant, house RA, and administrative RA at the same time
D. Applications can be written in either English or Korean (mixed writing is possible)
